Leadership Opportunity for Young People
Aotearoa New Zealand is excited to be co-hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ and to be able to use this incredible opportunity to put Aotearoa New Zealand front and centre on the world stage, benefit local communities for years to come, and leave a lasting legacy for football and women’s sport in this country.
This project has been made possible thanks to funding from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as part of its work to encourage leadership in young people as a co-host of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™. Southern Youth Development will be supporting young people to be able to participate in activities, the games and leadership opportunities as a part of this funding.
We are looking for a number a rakatahi throughout Clutha and Dunedin to participate in a range of activities. There will be more information in the coming weeks about this, but if you are an organisation that has some rakatahi who may be interested, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Partnerships and Contracts Manager, Leisa de Klerk, for more information. Her best contact is leisa@syd.org.nz
