June opportunities for sẏd

In April, we said a sad goodbye to two team members, Grant Heydon and Olivia Hills. In May, we have now welcomed James Blok to take over the supervisor role at our gardens @ syd programme where he will be supporting our trainees with practical skills that contribute to the world class Botanic Gardens here in Dunedin. Our Toss the Boss annual fundraiser was an amazing success with over 30 participants surpassing our target of $30,000 on behalf of Southern Youth Development. With more rakatahi requesting support from the syd team than ever before, finding the funds to continue our youth work is critical. A big thank you to all those who participated and donated - it is very much appreciated!
