A November to Remember

We'd like to say a massive congratulations to our wonderful Youth Worker, Jessie McLean, for achieving her Diploma in Youth Development with merit - adding to her already impressive educational background. Jessie is an integral part of our tīma running the HIVE activity centre, supporting the creative rakatahi in their goals. We are super proud of all your achievements, Jessie!

This last month has also seen our 35th birthday in the community. We've had a few names in the past, with the most recognisable for the Ōtepoti hapori being the Malcam Charitable Trust. With Southern Youth Development, we hope to reach a wider community with what we do in our very name. 35 years is a long time - and we're building our brand to be more focused on sustainability and strongly linked with whenua.
