Welcome to 2023

Posted Sunday December 4, 2022

We have a busy year ahead of us and we can't wait to see what this year has in store for us. We are incredibly grateful for all of the support that we received last year from a wide variety of businesses, trusts, local councils and schools. We know well that when we all work together, the rakatahi who are our future have the best chance at a fulfilling life.

We were lucky to be supported by the following organisations to continue our mahi throughout 2023 and beyond. The Ministry of Youth Development, the Dunedin City Council (Parks and Rec, Transport and the Waste Minimisation teams in particular), Otago Community Trust, the Ministry of Education and the Department of Internal Affairs. We're also grateful to partnerships from the Asmuss Foundation, Business South and Firebrand.

Coming up in May is our annual fundraiser, Toss the Boss, where we aim to raise $30,000 towards our youth programmes. There is more details about this in this newsletter, so if you're keen to get involved, check the article out for more information.

Happy 2023 everyone - all the best for this year, and we look forward to working with you and our community to support rakatahi in our area.
