A great day docking lambs.

It was noisy fun. FarmHand students got to become very proficient at docking lambs as we helped Invermay's farmers and their understudies treat the spring lambs. A simple process really; round them up, separate the sheep from their lambs (they were rather upset) before treating each lamb individually for tailing, testes and a wee scratch vaccination.

Students worked well in the good sweaty fun, but more important than the work was the learning and full experience of doing something very rural. Which was great, and this crew got stuck into it with gusto and enthusiasm.
