New Art Space with Hive

The Hive programme at Southern Youth Development is a communal space located at the syd premises where rakatahi can do activities that are important to them in a safe space. In the past, we have done bicycle recycling, computer programming, jewellery making, New Zealand Sign Language and arts and crafts. 

We have been asking rakatahi what they want to do in this space, and this is one of the safe spaces that we have been asked for. If you'd like to join, or know of someone who would like to know more about this programme including timings, where we are, and what is involved, please get in touch with our youth worker, Jessie at jessie@syd.org.nz
